Y-type filter is an indispensable filtering device in the pipeline system to transport media. Y-type filter is usually installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valve, relief valve, constant level valve or other equipment to remove impurities in the media and protect the normal use of valves and equipment. Y-type filter is characterized by advanced structure, small resistance and convenient sewage discharge. The applicable media of Y-type filter can be water, oil and gas. Generally, the water supply network is 18~30 mesh, the air supply network is 10~100 mesh, and the oil supply network is 100~480 mesh. Basket filter is mainly composed of connecting pipe, main pipe, filter basket, flange, flange cover and fastener. When the liquid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, the solid impurity particles are blocked in the filter basket, and the clean fluid is discharged from the filter outlet through the filter basket.

Working Principles:

Y type filter is to remove a small amount of solid particles in the liquid of small equipment, can protect the normal work of equipment, when the fluid is placed into a certain size of filter cartridge, the impurity is blocked, and cleaning filtrated liquid is discharged by filter outlet, when need to wash, just remove the removable cartridge, and reinstall after processing, therefore, it is very convenient for operation and maintenance. Y type filter is also named dirt separator or filter valve, is indispensable to pipeline system transporting medium, which is used to filter mechanical impurity in the sewage and can be used to filtrate rust, sand, and a small amount of solid particles in the liquid to protect equipment such as piping accessories from wear and congestion.
Y type filter is a wishbone, one end is to pass the liquid such as water, precipitation, and the other one end is waste, impurities, it is usually installed in a reducing valve, relief valve, water valve or other equipment's inlet side, its function is to remove the impurities in the water, to protect the normal operation of valves and equipment. When water entry into the body, the impurities in the water are deposited on the stainless steel screen, resulting in a pressure difference. The pressure difference between inlet and outlet is monitored by the differential pressure switch. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the electric controller will give signals to the hydraulic control valve and the driving motor to trigger the following actions: The motor drives the brush to rotate to clean the filter element, and the control valve is opened to discharge the water. The whole cleaning process only lasts for tens of seconds. When the cleaning is finished, the control valve is closed, the motor stops rotating, and the system returns to its initial state and begins to enter the next filtering process. After the equipment is installed, the technical personnel will conduct debugging, set the filtration time and cleaning conversion time, and the water to be treated will enter the body through the inlet, and the filter will start to work normally.
