Self-cleaning filter is a kind of filter that directly intercepts impurities in water, removes suspended solids and particulate matter in the water, reduces turbidity, and purifies water quality, thereby reducing system fouling, algae, rust, etc., so as to purify water quality and protect the normal operation of other equipment in the system.The wastewater enters the self-cleaning filter from the water inlet, then the motor drives the rotating rod. The cleaning brush connected to the rotating rod is used as the cleaning component. Due to the intelligent (PLC, PAC) design, the system can automatically identify the degree of impurity deposition, and send the sewage valve a signal to automatically discharge the sewage.

Working Principles:

When the wastewater enters the filter screen from the water inlet, the impurities are intercepted on the inner wall of the filter screen, and the filtered clean water flows out from the water outlet. When the impurities on the inner wall of the filter screen accumulate more and more, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the self-cleaning filter will reach set volume or reach cleaning time, the self-cleaning filter will start self-cleaning process. The whole self-cleaning process consists of two steps: the automatic drain valve on the self-cleaning filter is opened; the motor drives the cleaning brush inside the filter screen of the self-cleaning filter to rotate, and the impurities intercepted by the filter screen are brushed off by the cleaning brush, and are discharged from the drain valve. The system flows continuously during cleaning, and the entire operation process of the self-cleaning filter is controlled by the intelligent control box. The control is realized by PLC. There are three control modes: differential pressure, time and manual, which can be set according to customers needs.

Application:

Cooling water treatment: water filtration of cooling tower, make-up water system, air conditioning system and once through system to reduce the products of sediment in the heat exchanger and maintain its cooling effect.

Raw water treatment: it can filter river water, lake water, seawater, reservoir water, well water and groundwater to remove sand, algae, organics, etc.

Filtration of industrial circulating water: in the equipment with requirements for water quality. For example, cooling tower, rolling mill, continuous caster, polishing, water pump, solenoid valve, ion exchanger, sprayer, heat exchanger or water supply and drainage pipeline, which can be used to filter impurities in water to avoid blockage of pipes, nozzles and other parts.

Irrigation: especially suitable for water sources with high flow and high impurity content, agricultural irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, parks, golf courses, turf irrigation, etc.

Paper industry: white water filtration.
