Basket filter, also known as blue filter, is mainly used for oil or other liquid pipelines to filter debris in the pipeline. Its filtration hole area is 2-3 times larger than the diameter of the diameter tube, far exceeding the filtration area of Y-type filter and T-type filter. The filter accuracy of basket filter belongs to the filter with the best accuracy among the filters. The filter screen structure is different from other filter screens. Because of its shape like a basket, it is called a basket filter.

Basket filter is mainly composed of connecting pipe, main pipe, filter basket, flange, flange cover and fasteners. When the liquid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, the solid impurity particles are blocked in the filter basket, and the clean fluid passes through the filter basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is required, unscrew the screw plug at the bottom of the main pipe, drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, and re-install it after cleaning. Therefore, it is extremely convenient to use and maintain.

Maintenance:

1. The core part of the filter is the filter element. The filter element is composed of a filter frame and a stainless steel wire mesh. The stainless steel wire mesh is a wearing part and needs special protection;
2. When the filter works for a period of time, certain impurities are precipitated in the filter element. At this time, the pressure drop increases and the flow rate decreases. It is necessary to remove the impurities in the filter element in time;
3. When cleaning impurities, pay special attention to that the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element cannot be deformed or damaged. Otherwise, if the filter is installed again, the purity of the filtered medium will not meet the design requirements, and the compressors, pumps, instruments and other equipment will be damaged;
4. If the stainless steel wire mesh is found to be deformed or damaged, it needs to be replaced immediately.
