Why micro-irrigation needs automatic backwash disc filter:

Working Principles:
The shell of the automatic backwash disc filter is generally composed of upper and lower shells. The upper and lower shells are fastened with clamps or connected with threaded ports, and the water inlet and outlet are attached to the shell horizontally and vertically. The shape of the filter is mostly T-shaped or Y-shaped, with a built-in filter element, and the filter element is mostly cylindrical, which is composed of a large number of plastic sheets with grooves on the surface. When the filter is working, the water inlet pressure compresses the discs. First, the wall of the filter element can directly filter the large particles or coarse fiber impurities for preliminary filtration. At the same time, the grooves on the surface of the compressed discs cross each other, a series of irregular flow channels are formed. After the fine particles that are not retained by the discs wall enter the flow channel, they are trapped in the groove with the change of the flow channel section. After deep filtration, the clean water flows out of the filter through the filter element and enters the irrigation system to irrigation pipe network. When the retained impurities reaches a certain amount, due to the blockage of the flow channel, the pressure difference of the filter becomes larger, then it needs to be flushed. When backwashing, the discs are scattered, and the impurities are removed with water. Some of the impurities that cannot be excluded can be cleaned manually.
