Why water plant needs screw press:

Working Principles:
The main body of the screw press is composed of a fixed ring and a movable ring overlapping each other, and the front section is concentrated and filtered. The latter part is extruded mud. The screw shaft runs through it and drives the movable ring in the ring piece to rotate so as to achieve the purpose of gradual dehydration. To achieve the goal of reducing the water content and producing mud, the ring is rotated at the same time. The extrusion process also plays a role in cleaning the ring. The sludge concentration of the screw press dehydrator is generally 0.2%~5%, the moisture content of the mud is generally 75%~80%. The screw dewatering machine mainly relies on the extrusion of the screw to achieve sludge dewatering. The difference in the density of mud and water and the oil content will not affect the treatment efficiency of the equipment. It can realize the dewatering of low-concentration sludge. The unique dewatering principle makes the equipment be suitable for high and low concentration sludge, starting from 2000mg/L, creating a precedent for direct dewatering of low concentration sludge; the rotation speed of the screw shaft of the screw dehydrator is very low (about 2 r/min), which makes itself have the characteristics of low energy consumption, no noise, and low operating cost; the screw press adopts a fully enclosed box, and there is a reserved odor gas treatment interface on the box, which can effectively reduce the pollution influence of the odor gas (such as hydrogen sulfide) in the sludge to the surrounding work environment.
