Its working principle is based on the density difference between the solid and liquid phases. Under the action of centrifugal force, the sedimentation rate of the solid phase particles is accelerated, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.

Specifically, the material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the feeding spiral from the feed pipe, and then enters the drum after acceleration. Under the action of the centrifugal field, the heavier solid phase is deposited on the drum wall to form a sediment layer, while the lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring. The feeding spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the cone end of the drum, and discharges it out of the machine through the slag discharge port, while the liquid phase overflows from the overflow port at the large end of the drum and is discharged through the liquid discharge port, thus completing the entire separation process.
