The liquid flows in from the inlet manifold and enters the inlet of each filter unit. The liquid penetrates the outer surface of the filter element from the outside to the inside, flows to the outlet of each filter unit, and flows out after being collected in the outlet manifold. The particulate impurities are intercepted on the outer surface of the filter element and accumulate to form a filter cake. When the filter pressure difference gradually increases to reach the preset value (usually 1.5 bar), or when the cleaning time period expires, the control system starts the backwashing process to backwash each filter unit one by one. When a certain filter unit is backwashed, other units are still filtered normally.

The tubular backwash filter is composed of a tank body, filter element components, connecting pipelines near the equipment, automatic valves, and control cabinets. A plurality of filter tubes are arranged inside the filter housing, and the dirty liquid flows from the outside of the filter tubes to the inside of the filter tubes, and finally flows out from the liquid collection chamber of the filter. The control adopts pressure difference/time control (differential pressure priority), when the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter reaches the set pressure difference limit, the filter enters the reverse flushing process. The filter tube unit that needs to be backwashed terminates filtration and is backwashed.
