Working Principles:

The drum, the differential, and the spiral are the three key components of the horizontal decanter centrifuge.
It is a equipment that uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to separate suspension. It can be divided into two-phase separation horizontal decanter centrifuge and three-phase separation horizontal decanter centrifuge, the former is mainly used for solid-liquid separation.
Its working principle is: the suspension enters between the centrifuge drum and the screw, and is driven by the main motor. The lower screw and the drum rotate at high speed to generate centrifugal force, and the suspension is formed in the drum.

How it works is: Under the action of centrifugal force, the material forms three relatively stable layers, starting from the drum wall, inwards are the same phase layer, heavy liquid layer, light liquid layer. The solid phase layer is driven by the helical body to the small end of the drum and is discharged from the slag discharge port. The heavy liquid layer and the light liquid layer follow the spiral blades holes to the big end of the drum, and then discharge from different outlets to achieve continuous three-phase separation.
