The Fruit Filter Press is an efficient and cost-saving solid-liquid separation machine, ideally suited to the high standards of juice concentration and purification required in the food industry.

The working principle of the Fruit Filter Press:

I. Filtration stage.
The solids-containing fruit slurry is conveyed through a pumping system into the filter chambers of the filter press. These chambers usually consist of closely arranged diaphragm plates and filter cloths. Under the action of hydraulic or mechanical pressure, the filter cloth blocks the solid particles to form a cake, while the filtrate is discharged through the filter cloth.

II. Squeezing stage.
When the filter cake is formed, the diaphragm plate is injected with high pressure liquid or gas, which expands the diaphragm and exerts additional pressure on the formed filter cake. This high-pressure boost extrudes more water and achieves deep dewatering of the filter cake, thus reducing the moisture content of the cake.

In summary, the fruit filter press effectively realises solid-liquid separation of fruit slurry through two key stages of filtration and extrusion, and greatly reduces the water content of the filter cake.
