Working Principle

1. Filtration Process

Untreated water flows in from the inlet main pipe and enters the inlet of each filter unit after distribution. The liquid passes through the outer surface of the filter element from the outside to the inside, flows to the outlet of each filter unit, and flows out after converging to the outlet main pipe. The particle impurities are intercepted on the outer surface of the filter element and gradually accumulate to form a filter cake.

2. Backwashing Process

When the filtration pressure difference gradually increases to reach the preset value, or when the cleaning time cycle arrives, the control system starts the backwashing system. According to the different sources of backwashing liquid, there are many backwashing methods, such as using the filtrate of other filter units to backflow to wash the filter cake on the outer surface of the filter element. During the entire backwashing process, when a filter unit is backwashed, other filter units are still filtering normally.
