Backwashing status of self-cleaning filter: when the filter is backwashed, the motor drives the steel brush to rotate to remove impurities adhering to the filter screen. At this time, the drain outlet automatically opens, and part of the filtered water is normally discharged through the filter screen, while part of the water carries impurities out of the system through the drain outlet. After backwashing, the drain outlet is automatically closed, and the filtered water is normally discharged from the water outlet. The system is designed to ensure the normal operation of the whole system without stopping water during backwashing.

Backwashing state control: time (set backwashing cycle), differential pressure control (pressure difference at inlet and outlet reaches the set value), manual control (local manual control for backwashing, or remote control for backwashing). The three control modes can exist at the same time, which control mode reaches the set value first, and the backwashing state can be enabled. For example, a vertical self-cleaning filter is provided for the circulating water system of a steel plant. According to past experience, the customer set the time limit to backwash once every 8 hours. However, due to the recent decline in water quality, they were worried that the cycle time of cleaning once every 8 hours was too long, and the filter screen was blocked by too many impurities, which caused high differential pressure and had a bad impact on the filter and subsequent equipment, so they set the differential pressure on the filter to 0.1Mpa. After the filter has operated for a period of time, the differential pressure alarm is given, but the 8-hour cleaning cycle has not been reached at this time. The system also automatically starts backwashing according to the differential pressure control, impurities are removed smoothly, and the system returns to normal; The customer can also select manual control to manually open backwashing according to the demand.
