Working Principle:
Filtration Stage: Water flows from top to bottom through the filter media layer. The filter bed is typically composed of media of various densities and particle sizes (e.g., from top to bottom: anthracite, quartz sand, garnet, etc.), forming a "gradient filtration" structure where the pore size gradually decreases from top to bottom.
Backwashing Stage (Critical Regeneration Step): After a period of operation, as the impurities trapped in the filter bed increase and the head loss (pressure difference) increases to a set value or reaches a predetermined time, the filter needs to be automatically/manually backwashed to restore performance.

Deep Filtration: The filter bed is thick (typically >1 meter), capable of storing a large amount of impurities, with a large processing capacity and long operating cycle.
