Spiral Sand Water Separator
Sand water separator is a sand-water mixture that excludes the sand pond in the primary sewage treatment process, and the mechanical equipment for re-separation can remove sand and gravel inorganic matter and other debris. Working principle
The spiral sand water separator is composed of shaftless spiral, liner, U-shaped tank, water tank, deflector plate, outlet weir and drive device. Spiral sand water separator installation inclination angle between 20-30°, sand water mixture from the inlet pipe into the water tank, the mixed liquid in the larger proportion of particles (such as sand particles) due to the drop of self-weight surface deposited at the bottom of the spiral groove, under the impetus of the spiral, the material along the bottom of the diagonal U-shaped groove lift, after leaving the liquid level, continue to move up a distance, the water in the sand particles gradually flow back to the water tank in the gap in the spiral tank, the sand particles are gradually dried at the outlet, relying on the self-weight to fall into other conveying devices. The supernatant is constantly flowing out of the drain.
