Quartz Sand Filter
Quartz sand filter is a commonly used water treatment and purification equipment, also known as sand filter, often used in river water purification, circulating water treatment, sewage treatment and etc.
Working principle
Quartz sand filter is also known as sand filter device, sand filter equipment. It is a filter filled with quartz sand, and the quartz sand filter is generally used as a pre-treatment of pure water equipment and mineral water equipment, and it is mainly through the filter material to intercept and adsorb sediment, colloids, metal ions and organic matter. In the purified water treatment and sewage treatment is commonly used, because of its pollution-free, low price, low operating costs, so the application is more extensive, the common filter has stainless steel 304 material, carbon steel material. Generally, the internal adopts epoxy or lining anti-corrosion treatment. Water distribution system includes: flare mouth cloth type, hanging basket cloth type, flat plate type, dome plate type, stainless steel tubular type. The strainer has ABS mushroom head and stainless steel cylindrical wire around the water hat type. Consider the backwash of the quartz sand filter, the flow rate of the general water distributor is usually about three times the operating flow.
Main features
Quartz sand filter equipment structure is simple, the operation of backwashing is more convenient, mainly by adjusting 4 valves, so that the direction of the water changes, running is up and down, backwashing is up and down, and then through the sewage valve will be backwashed sewage discharge, and then through the positive washing, until the water is clear and clean.
Loading quartz sand should pay attention to: the sewage interception layer quartz sand specifications of 0.5-1.0mm, the height of more than 700mm, there are 2 layers of support layer, respectively, 1-2mm filling height in 150-200mm, 2-3mm loading height in 150-200mm. Untreated water has a sewage interception capacity of 0.5-1.0Kg/m3, lime treated water has a sewage interception capacity of 1.5-2.0 Kg/m3, and for water treated with coagulation, its sewage interception capacity is 2.5-3.0Kg/m3.
