What Types of Self-Cleaning Filters are There?
Self-cleaning filter is mainly divided into the following categories according to the differences in driving mode, filtering mechanism and structural design. JX Filtration provides customized solutions for different industrial scenarios:

I. Classification by driving mode
1. Electric brush self-cleaning filter
Drive structure: motor driven stainless steel brush/nylon brush.
Filter accuracy: 50-3000μm.
Typical applications:
Pulp pre-filtration in juice production (e.g. 1-3mm pulp interception in apple juice).
Removal of suspended solids in circulating water system (SS≤50mg/L→≤5mg/L).
2. Hydraulically driven suction self-cleaning filter
Drive structure: hydraulic turbine driven suction scanning arm.
Filter accuracy: 10-800μm.
Typical applications:
Security filtration before RO reverse osmosis membrane (Protecting 5μm precision filter element).
Separation of yeast from wine fermentation liquid.
II. Classification by filtering mechanism
1. Rotating arm scanning filter
Structural features: Rotating arm with suction nozzle/scraper.
Advantage scenarios:
High solid content medium (e.g. turbid liquid containing 5-8% pomace after juice pressing).
Large flow processing (single machine can reach 2000m³/h).
2. Scraper self-cleaning filter
Structural features: hydraulically driven scraper group.
Advantage scenarios:
High viscosity liquid (e.g. pectin extract, syrup).
Fiber impurity medium (e.g. separation of cane pith in sugarcane juice).
