Integrated Crushing & Press Machine is a solid-liquid separation device that combines pretreatment (crushing) and main treatment (pressing), suitable for biomass materials with high moisture content such as kelp. Kelp itself contains a large amount of water (typically as high as 80%-90%), and dehydration treatment can be used in food processing, feed production, or fertilizer manufacturing. The following are typical application steps:

Crushing Stage:

The kelp first enters the crushing unit of the equipment, where it is chopped or broken into small pieces by blades or a rotor. This increases the surface area of the kelp, disrupts the cell structure, and makes it easier to release internal water, thereby improving dehydration efficiency.

Pressing Stage:

The crushed kelp material enters the pressing unit, where external force is applied through screw extrusion, hydraulic pressure, or mechanical pressure. Water is squeezed out, forming filtrate (which can be recycled or treated), while the dehydrated kelp residue is discharged. The moisture content can be significantly reduced (e.g., from 90% to 50%-60%, depending on equipment parameters and kelp characteristics).
