The plate and frame filter press has good processing effect, low water content of filter cake and relatively large sludge treatment capacity, which is incomparable to other dewatering equipment.

The plate and frame filter press fills the slurry between the filter plates, squeezes out the water by squeezing the plates, and filters the sludge through the filter cloth to finally achieve dewatering.

It is generally composed of support frame, hydraulic cylinder, filter plate, air feeding system, filter cloth flushing system and limit device.

What aspects should be considered for equipment selection?

Water content of mud cake. Plate and frame filter press in the extrusion dewatering process in the form of more direct, relatively long action time, the role of higher efficiency, the water content of the processed mud cake is smaller, the resulting mud cake occupies less space.
Plate and frame material. The plate frame mainly adopts the material which is not easy to deform the rigidity and lighter in quality, and can resist high pressure in the extrusion process.
Filter cloth material selection. The choice of filter cloth mainly requires corrosion resistance, strong tensile strength, better filtration.
Working form. By using the form of hydraulic or pneumatic control of the plate and frame movement, its pneumatic noise is larger.
