Microfiltration

MF

The filtration precision is generally 0.1-50 microns. Common various PP filter elements, activated carbon filter elements, ceramic filter elements, etc. belong to the category of microfiltration.

Removes harmful substances such as bacteria from water. The filter element cannot usually be cleaned and is a one-time filter material that needs to be replaced frequently. ① PP cotton core: generally only used for coarse filtration with low requirements to remove large particles such as sediment and rust in water. ② Activated carbon: It can eliminate the color and odor in the water, but it cannot remove the bacteria in the water, and the removal effect of sediment and rust is also very poor. ③ Ceramic filter element: The minimum filtration precision is only 0.1 micron, and the flow rate is usually small, which is not easy to clean.

UF

The filtration precision is 0.001-0.1 micron, which belongs to one of the high-tech in the 21st century. It is a membrane separation technology using differential pressure, which can filter out harmful substances such as rust, sediment, suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, macromolecular organic matter in water, and retain some mineral elements that are beneficial to the human body.

It is the core component in the production process of mineral water and mountain spring water. The recovery rate of water in the ultrafiltration process is as high as 95%, and it can easily realize flushing and backwashing, which is not easy to block and has a relatively long service life.

NF

The filtration precision is between ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis (RO), and the desalination rate is lower than that of reverse osmosis. It is also a membrane separation technology that requires electricity and pressure, and the water recovery rate is low. In the process of using nanofiltration membrane to make water, nearly 30% of the tap water will be wasted. This is not acceptable to ordinary families. Generally used in the manufacture of industrial pure water.

RO

The filtration precision is about 0.0001 microns, which can filter out almost all impurities (including harmful and beneficial) in the water, and only allow water molecules to pass through. That is to say, in the process of using reverse osmosis membrane to make water, nearly 50% of the tap water will be wasted.

Generally used in the manufacture of pure water, industrial ultrapure water, and medical ultrapure water. Reverse osmosis technology requires pressurization and electricity, the flow rate is small, and the utilization rate of water is low.
