Difference of Self-cleaning Filter and Backwash Filter

Self-cleaning filter and Backwash filter are both the advanced and common water filtration equipment with high precision (10 microns-5000microns) and large capacity (up to 8000m3/h). However, they have little difference as follows:

Working principle

In the actual operation of the self-cleaning filter, the liquid enters the filter from the entrance, and then flows through the coarse filter element to do preliminary filtration, filtering some large impurities, and then enters the filter mesh, which can play the role of filtering the small impurities due to the small diameter of the filter mesh, and after double filtration, the clean liquid will be discharged from the outlet.
In the actual operation of the backwash filter, the water flow guide valve is in the open state and the drainage is in the closed state, so that the liquid enters the backwash filter from the entrance, flows through the filter and is sent out from the exit, and the impurities in the liquid are intercepted in the process of flowing through the filter. If the backwashing filter needs to be discharged, turn off the water flow guide valve and then open the discharge valve, in this way, the liquid will be filtered in the process of flowing through the screen, and part of the liquid will flow into the system after being filtered, while the other part of the liquid will be discharged from the outside to the inside after passing through the screen, and keep flushing the dirty material on the inner wall, and then be sent out through the drain.

Structure

Self-cleaning filter is mainly composed of driving device, control pipeline, electric controller, main parts, filter element, drain valve and cleaning device. Among them, the electric controller, drain valve and control pipeline is the control part of the self-cleaning filter, which can automatically clean and drain. The control pipeline can be subdivided into parts such as pressure research off pipe joints and brass pipes.

The backwash filter is mainly composed of barrel, stainless steel filter, butterfly valve and drainage parts. In the actual operation of the filter, the butterfly valve is in the open state and the drainage is in the closed state, so that the liquid flows from the inlet through the filter and is sent out from the outlet.
