Basket Strainer Can Effectively Desalinate Seawater

There are various types of basket filters, which can be adjusted according to the customer's usage and working condition. The length, diameter, material and pressure can be customized according to the customer's requirements, the basket filter inlet and outlet position direction is variable to meet a variety of working conditions.

The flange type is optional WN, SO, PL. According to customer requirements, the basket filter can be equipped with optional pressure gauge, differential pressure gauge, drain valve and other spare parts.

Working principle

The raw water flows into the filter through the inlet, firstly, the coarse screen filters out the larger particles of impurities, then the raw water enters the fine screen; the fine screen then carries out more detailed filtration. In the process of filtration, the filter continuously accumulates impurities in the raw water, thus forming a layer of filter impurities, and due to the continuous accumulation of impurities, a pressure difference is formed between the inner and outer sides of the fine filter.

When the differential pressure of the basket filter reaches its preset value, the machine will start automatic cleaning, and the supply of clean water remains uninterrupted during the cleaning process. The suction machine combines the axial movement with the rotating movement, and the whole surface of the filter as well as the inside is completely cleaned, and the whole cleaning process takes only ten seconds or so.

Structure & application

The basket filter is mainly composed of receiver, cylinder, filter basket, flange, flange cover and fasteners. Installed in the pipeline can remove the larger solid impurities in the fluid, so that machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps), instruments can work and operate normally, to achieve the role of stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production. At present, it has been widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection and other industries.
