What is Seawater Coarse Filter Backwash?
Application: commonly used in industrial circulating water, cooling water, reverse osmosis water pre-treatment, desalination.
There are many seawater desalination technologies. The most popular are backwash filter physical filtration method, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis membrane evaporation, ion exchange method, freezing method, etc.
But the only method suitable for large-scale desalination of seawater is Seawater Coarse Filter Backwash, multi-effect distillation (MED) and reverse osmosis (RO).
Due to the high salt content of seawater, the material of the backwash filter is SS316, duplex 2205 or 2507.
The precision of the filter element is usually 5um-10um.
The seawater before the high-pressure pump is filtered to remove particles larger than 5 microns in diameter from the seawater to ensure the safe and long-term stable operation of the high-pressure pump.
