MOC of water well screen: Commonly the water well screen made by stainless steel with better corrosion resistance performance and high strength. 

Length: 1-3 meters is enough for a small well. The decisive factor is the open area that allows water to enter (the areas of all holes are added together).

Diameter: When the well screen is made of the same material as the housing, it will be the same diameter as the housing.

Opening area: The opening should be large enough to allow smaller particles of the surrounding soil to pass through, but at the same time prevent larger soil particles.

Shape of opening: The most effective opening shape is a slender slit, which is easy to make. This kind of shape provides the largest amount of open area in a small space and is not easy to block.

The arrangement of opening: Making and arranging screen holes to maintain material strength and allow maximum water flow.

Install location: If it enters the aquifer deep enough, the thickest layer will produce the most water, so this should be the place where the water well screen is set.

Water well screen installation ( Four different methods)

  • The casing and the screen can be lowered into the hole that has sunk to the depth of the completion of the aquifer.
  • It is possible to remove the soil and sink the casing together by operating the water bucket in the casing and the screen, and sink the casing and the bottom screen to their final position.
  • The casing and screen can be driven to the final position by any of the drive technologies.
  • In the case of a pump, the casing and screen can be flushed by pumping water into the casing and pumping water from the bottom of the screen, where it will absorb and carry soil particles back to the surface between the casing and the hole wall.
