Three Kinds of Air Flotation Equipment
Air flotation is a process to introduce a large number of fine air bubbles into the water to form a mixture of water, air and particles, so that the particles adhere to the air bubbles and float on the surface of the water because the density of the adhesive is lower than that of water to realize the separation of water and suspended solids and purify water.
Air flotation machines are mainly used for wastewater treatment in oil refining, paper-making, chemical industry, coking, washing and other industries. It is mainly divided into Dissolved Air Flotation, Cavitation Air Flotation, High Efficiency Air Flotation.
1. Dissolved Air Flotation
Dissolved air flotation is mainly composed of dissolved air pump, releaser, slag scraper, air compressor, dosing system, power distribution system, etc. It is suitable for sewage treatment with small water volume less than 500m3/d.
The process section is divided into: pH adjustment area, coagulation area, dissolved air release area, sedimentation area, dissolved air water return area, sludge tank, and clean water tank.
2. Cavitation Air Flotation
Cavitation Air Flotation is mainly composed of coagulation system, aerator, slag scraper, and dosing system. Suitable for sewage treatment less than 1000m3/h.
The bottom of the Cavitation Air Flotation is the high-speed rotation of the diffuser impeller, forming a vacuum area in the water. The air on the liquid surface enters the water through the aerator to generate micro-bubbles, and spirally rise to the water surface under the strong stirring of the impeller. While generating micro-bubbles, the Cavitation Air Flotation forms a negative pressure zone at the bottom of the pool with the return pipe. This negative pressure will make the wastewater flow back from the bottom of the pool to the aeration zone, and then return to the air flotation section.
3. High Efficiency Air Flotation
The high-efficiency shallow air flotation device is mainly composed of agglomeration, air flotation, slag skimming, sedimentation and mud scraping. The overall shape is cylindrical, the structure is compact, and the pool is shallow. It is suitable for wastewater treatment of more than 1000 m3.
The main body of the device consists of five parts: the pool body, the rotating water distribution mechanism, the dissolved air release mechanism, the frame mechanism, and the water collection mechanism. The water inlet, water outlet and scum discharge port are all concentrated in the central area of the pool body. The device provides a complete set of equipment assembly and control system, through the combination of centralized control and decentralized control, so that the equipment can reach the best operating state.
