How to deal with the failure of Dewatering Screw Press during operation?

• The length of the filter body of the Dewatering Screw Press

If the filter body is too short, the filtrate will not be completely filtered out. The smaller the clearance of the back pressure plate and the lower the water content of the filter cake, it will also form a great burden, which will make the perishable parts (moving ring, screw shaft) wear faster.

Solution: To improve the moisture content, increase the clearance of the back plate, and reduce the internal pressure of the fold screw.

• The decrease in sludge concentration will result in a decrease in solid additives and higher moisture content

Due to the decrease of solid additives, the internal pressure of the Dewatering Screw Press decreases.

Solution:  Adding solids to the sludge. In the case of adding sludge volume, please do not let the liquid level be higher than the high position (H) of the flocculant mixing tank, and make appropriate adjustments to ensure the continuity of dehydration.

• The pump is running but the flow is low

Check the pump body for aseptic spots, and adjust the inlet pressure of the compressed air. Decrease the speed of the pump body to adjust the viscosity and concentration of the liquid.

Solution: Check if the valve ball is stuck. If the transportation of the liquid and the valve ball material does not match, the valve ball will swell. Please replace the appropriate valve ball and valve seat material. Please check if the intake pipe is blocked.
