What is the structure and dewatering principle of the Horizontal Centrifuge?

The Sludge Dewatering Horizontal Centrifuge is mainly composed of drum, spiral, differential system, liquid level stopper, driving system and control system, etc. The decanter centrifuge uses the density difference between solid and liquid phases to achieve solid-liquid separation by accelerating the settling speed of solid particles under the action of centrifugal force, and the specific separation process is that sludge and flocculant liquid are sent to the mixing chamber in the drum through the inlet pipe, where they are mixed and flocculated (if the sludge is dosed before the pump or after pumping, the flocculation reaction is already in advance).

 

Due to the high speed rotation of the rotor (spiral and drum) and friction resistance, the sludge is accelerated inside the rotor and forms a cylindrical liquid ring layer (liquid ring area), and under the action of centrifugal force, the solid particles with higher specific gravity settle to the inner wall of the drum to form a mud layer (solid ring layer), and then use the relative speed difference between the spiral and the drum to push the solid phase to the cone end of the drum, and after pushing out the liquid surface (bank area or drying area), the sludge is dewatered and dried, and pushed to the discharge port. Pushed to the slag discharge, filtrate through the return pipe from the big end of the drum discharge, to achieve solid-liquid separation.
