Sand Water Separator
The sand water separator is suitable for the grit tank of the sewage treatment plant (station), and is a device for treating a mixture of sand water in sewage treatment.
Working Principle
The sand water mixture is flow in the water tank from the top of Sand Water Separator, and the solid with large gravity such as sand in the mixture is deposited at the groove shape bottom. After the sand is sufficiently dehydrated and discharge through outlet to sand bucket, and the water separated from the sand is discharged from the overflow to achieve separation.
Further, a cylindrical swirl pre-separator can also be provided at the water inlet of the sand water separator, and the sewage is in the cylindrical tangential direction to enter the screw separator, overflow liquid back to the grit tank or grid.
