Pre-coated Vacuum Drum Filter

Working principle

The working principle of the pre-coated vacuum drum filter is basically the same as the general vacuum drum filter. The main difference is pre-coated filter aid (such as diatomate, and perlite) before filtration. During filtration, the filter aid in the channel body forms the desired thickness under the suction of the vacuum, and then injects the slurry to be filtered. Under vacuum suction, isolated filtrate through the pre-coating layer and the filter cloth and discharge pass the liquid absorbent tube, the liquid collector, the gas-liquid separator. While the solid in the slurry is intercepted by the pre-coating layer, and the automatic feed scraper is continuously scraped. When the pre-coating residual thickness is about 10 mm, it is necessary to precoat again to carry out the next working cycle.
