It is mainly composed of the rotary drum, storage tank, the distribution head, transmission device, filter cake washing device, stirrer, and scraper discharge device.
The rotary vacuum filter is basically divided in to Scraper Type, Folding Belt Type, Pre-coating Type.
- Scrapper type
The filter realizes the solid-liquid separation of the suspension under vacuum (negative pressure) through the filter cloth running synchronously with the rotating drum.
Relying on compressed air back-blowing and removing the filter cake through the scraper device, the compressed air back-blowing realizes the regeneration of the filter cloth.
With the characteristics of automatic and continuous operation, it is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, tailings, environmental protection and other industries.
- Folding Belt Type
The folding belt vacuum filter does not use a blower to discharge the material, but allows the filter cloth to bypass the discharge roller, and the filter cake falls automatically by changing the curvature.
This unloading not only improves the filtering capacity, but also eliminates the need for blasting, so that the filter cake will not increase moisture due to backwater.
It is suitable for the dehydration of fine and viscous materials. It is widely used to filter the floating washing products of non-ferrous metal concentrates and coal after floating washing and to treat sewage.
- Pre-coating type
Use pre-coating filter aids (such as diatomaceous earth, perlite, etc.) before filtering.
When filtering, the filter aid in the tank forms a pre-coating layer of the required thickness on the outer surface of the drum under the action of vacuum suction.
And then injects the slurry to be filtered, the separated filtrate pass through the pre-coating and filter cloth discharged through the suction pipe, the collecting pipe, and the vapor-liquid separator. While the solid particles in the slurry are intercepted by the pre-coating, and the surface of the filter aid is continuously scraped off by the automatically fed scraper.
It has been widely used in medicine, food, sugar, chemical and other industries. This product is mainly suitable for filtrate.
