Pneumatic Self-cleaning Filter
The Pneumatic self-cleaning filter can automatically clean the particles and impurities on the inner surface of the filter screen by mechanical scraping, which can continuously operate. It is mainly designed for high-viscosity filtration, suitable for high-viscosity liquid filtration work, the precision range is 30-1500 microns, accurate filtration, can quickly scrape impurities off the surface of the filter screen, so as to effectively remove more impurities, suitable for water and various filtration of viscous liquids. The pneumatic self cleaning filter use compressed air to drive the leaning mechanism which is more environmental and saving the energy.
Working principle
Filter Status
The liquid flows in from the inlet, the disc-shaped scraper with spring is close to the inner surface of the filter element, and stops at the upper end of the filter screen. The liquid passes through the scraper and flows outward from the inner surface of the filter screen. With the passage of time, the impurities gradually increase, the pressure difference rises, and the filter screen is cleaned according to the set pressure difference or regularly.
Cleaning Status
The cylinder drives the scraper to reciprocate up and down to clean the filter screen. When the scraper moves downward, the impurities are pushed to the bottom of the filter by the scraper, and the impurities with large specific gravity are deposited into the sewage collection chamber. When the scraper moves upward, the residual impurities are scraped and pushed to the upper end of the filter element, and the impurities are washed away by the flowing liquid, pass through the scraper, and return to the inner surface of the filter screen, and are scraped away when the scraper moves downward. Each cleaning consists of several strokes, after the surface of the filter screen is cleaned, the filtering capacity is restored. Normal filtration during cleaning, flow is not interrupted.
Discharge status
After several cleaning cycles, the impurities accumulate to a certain amount, and the drain valve is opened regularly to discharge the waste liquid containing high concentration impurities, which can also be recycled if necessary.
