Filter press is a kind of intermittent operation filtration equipment, mainly used for solid-liquid separation. The material is filtered by pressure and is widely used in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, especially for the separation of viscous and fine materials. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, sugar, mineral processing, food and sewage treatment and other industrial and mining enterprises.

In general, the filter press is widely applicable, but the structure is simple. It is mainly for the pressing and pulling together of the plate and frame, and the unloading of slag and cleaning of filter cloth can be fully automated.

The filter press consists of many filter plates and frames stacked together to form a filtration chamber, using pressure as the driving force for filtration. It is mainly divided into three kinds of filter presses: plate and frame filter press, chamber filter press and vertical filter press.

Classification

There are nine series of frame sizes: 250mm, 320mm, 450mm, 630mm, 800mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1600mm, 2000mm.

By filtering area, there are 0.5 m2 to 1150 m2.

According to the style, there are plate and frame type, diaphragm press type, chamber type, etc.

By material, there are cast iron, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, ceramic, cast steel, rubber and reinforced polypropylene (plastic), etc.

According to the transmission mode, there are manual, electric, jack, hydraulic, automatic pressure-holding, full-automatic, etc.
