How does Self Cleaning Water Filter work?

Working principle:

  • Filtration: The raw water enters the body from the water inlet and flows through the filter screen to filter out the fine impurities in the water. As various pollutants in the filter media accumulate inside the filter screen, the filter channel is blocked and the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet gradually increases.
  • High pressure backwash: When the pressure difference reaches the preset value, the system automatically starts the stroke motor and the backwash high-pressure pump. At this time, the transmission device drives the sewage shaft with the suction nozzle to rotate and move horizontally on the inside of the filter screen.
  • At the same time, on the outside of the filter screen, the high-pressure backwash device and the sewage device act synchronously. Under the premise of not interrupting the normal water production, only a small part of the product water is used to perform high-pressure backwashing on the filter screen. The backwash water penetrates the filter screen, together with the impurities peeled from the filter screen are quickly sucked into the sewage shaft by the suction nozzle, and finally discharged from the sewage chamber.
  • Reset: After a backwash cycle, the pressure difference drops, all components are reset, and the system enters normal operation again.
