Desalination Wedge Wire Strainer

As we all know wedge wire strainer is composed of "V" shaped stainless steel wire, i.e. wedge shape, and stainless steel support rod.

Besides, it has technical features as following:

• Its uniform filter slot size and high precision ensure effective retention of the filter media.
• The wedge wire mesh has a larger circulation area than other screens.
• The tiny gaps between the wedge-shaped filaments form a smooth wedge-shaped cross-section, ensuring no dead space, excellent resistance to clogging and easy backwashing (blowing).
• It has high mechanical strength and can withstand high pressure drop.
• Made of high quality stainless steel wire, it has strong corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance and is fully adaptable to various harsh environments
• It adapts to different forms of fluid direction and has high strength, high flow rate and high pressure resistance performance.
• Maintain stable filtration precision, can be repeatedly reused and work reliably.

For desalination application, JX Filtration has some unique design:

• Provide duplex steel (DSS) and super duplex steel (SDSS) construction material for options. The Stronger corrosion resistance.
• Add few stiffeners on the outside of the screen cylinder to make it more resistant to pressure.
