What is the Structure of Disc Centrifuge | JX Filtration
It is mainly composed of inlet and outlet device, rotary drum, machine cover, vertical shaft, horizontal shaft, machine base, motor and PLC control cabinet.
- Inlet and outlet device
It can not only visually check the liquid condition before and after separation, but also adjust the separation effect by adjusting the flow control valve on the device.
A sampling device is installed on the upper part of the machine cover to achieve the best separation effect through sampling and testing.
- Rotary drum
The drum part is the core parts of the machine which completes the material separation process and rotates at high speed.
It is connected to the vertical shaft through a high-precision taper fit to gain power.
The discs are installed on the distributor according to the number sequence, and the disc pressing cover and the rotating drum cover are pressed against the rotating drum body.
- Vertical Shaft
The vertical shaft transmits power and is equipped with a speed-increasing gear (pinion helical gear) and high-speed rotating parts.
Because both the axial and radial directions are elastically supported, the lifting height of the vertical shaft can be adjusted.
- Horizontal shaft
The horizontal shaft is the main component that transmits the power of the motor to the vertical shaft and the drum.
It is composed of motor, coupling, hydraulic coupling, transmission shaft, large helical gear, brake wheel and other parts. The hydraulic coupling is used for transmission, and it also plays a role of overload protection.
- Cover
The machine cover is a part connecting the body and the inlet and outlet device. It consists of an upper cover, a lower cover and a water inlet cover.
The adjustment gasket on the top of the upper cover is used to adjust the height of the centripetal pump to ensure that the centripetal pump is in position.
The lower cover is mainly used as a slag discharge channel, and is designed with a through hole dedicated to the assembly and disassembly of the small piston and valve body.
