Working principle:

Waste water or slurry flows into the headbox under the action of gravity, and then overflows from the distribution weir to the surface of the steeply inclined parabolic screen filter. The liquid enters the drain pan through the opening of the wedge-shaped wire, while the solid slides down from the surface of the screen to the discharge port.
