Multi Self Cleaning filter is based on the modular concept design, make a number of standard filtering units into a fully automatic filtration system. It is safe and could flexible increase or decrease the number of units according to the flow needs. Multi Self Cleaning filter operate automatically, no manual cleaning with strong extensibility, can be connected with external high-pressure backwash fluid.
It operates by low pressure differential and adopts V-SLOT wedge filter elements. Backwashing consumption of liquid is less, no manual cleaning, easy to power on maintenance. Multi Self Cleaning filter's main functions including purify fluids, protect critical equipment in the back channel, and recover expensive solid particles with their backwash discharge. It is suitable for low-viscous liquids such as raw water, sewage, low-viscosity slag oil, etc.
Working principle
The liquid flows in from the main inlet and enters the inlet of each filter unit. The liquid penetrates the outer surface of the filter element from the inside to the outside, flows to the outlet of each filter unit, and flows out after being collected in the main outlet. The particulate impurities are intercepted on the surface of the filter element and accumulate to form a filter cake. When the filter pressure difference gradually rises to a preset value (usually 70-130kpa); or when the cleaning time period expires, the control system starts the backwash action, and backwash each filter unit one by one. The entire backwash process is completed. When a certain filter unit is backwashed, other units still filter normally.
