What is a pipeline filter?

Pipeline filter is the equipment for removing solid impurities in the process of pipeline conveying liquid. When the liquid flows through the filter, the impurities are filtered out, which can protect the pump, compressor, instrumentation and other equipment to work normally. When cleaning is required, just take out the detachable filter cartridge, remove the filtered impurities and reload it, which is extremely convenient to use and maintain.

Principle of pipeline filter
Raw water enters from the water inlet, firstly passes through the coarse filter to intercept large impurities and bacteria and algae, and then flows to the fine filter. The fine filter net intercepts fine impurities and so on. During this period, the water continues to enter, impurities accumulate more and more, resulting in the formation of pressure difference between the inside and outside of the screen on both sides. When this pressure difference reaches the value set initially, the drain valve will automatically open for sewage. At the same time, the electric motor will drive the stainless steel brush inside the filter screen to be up and down cyclic spiral cleaning, wash off the impurities remaining on the inside of the filter screen, and then discharged by the discharge valve. This is a water filtration and automatic cleaning process of automatic pipeline filter.

Pipeline filter is suitable for petroleum, chemical and other production of liquid or gas materials, filtering its solid impurities. It is usually installed on the pipeline in front of the inlet of pump, compressor or flow meter.
