Factory-based circulating aquaculture system, known as RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System). It is a new sustainable development model which integrates modern engineering, recycling water treatment, high density aquaculture, intensive management and other advanced concepts.

Compared with traditional aquaculture methods, RAS system can save 50-100 times of land and 160-2600 times of water per unit of aquatic products, and save 90%-99% of water and 99% of land compared with traditional aquaculture, and almost no pollution. The remnant bait manure and other aquaculture wastewater waste generated are discharged from the aquaculture pond at the first time and enter the circulating water treatment system for treatment, eliminating the risk of water quality deterioration.

All aquaculture wastewater is recycled within the system. After the treatment reaches the standard, it is returned to the aquaculture pond for recycling, and the utilization rate of aquaculture water reaches more than 96%. Only a small amount of aquaculture water needs to be supplemented to meet the needs of aquaculture, which greatly saves water resources and improves resource utilization.
