Sieve Bend Filter

Sieve Bend Filter (also known as DSM screen) is a simple, efficient and convenient sewage retaining device that uses wedge wire screen to intercept suspended solids in liquid. It is suitable for removing suspended solids from low concentration solution. It is commonly used in printing and dyeing wastewater, poultry processing and other industrial wastewater treatment, urban sewage treatment and recycling of useful solid sundries. 

Working Principle

The wastewater to be treated is evenly distributed to the sieve bend screen through the overflow weir. Due to the small and smooth gap on the screen surface and large gap on the back, the water continuously washes the screen for cleaning the screen and is not easy to block. The solid matter is intercepted on the screen surface, and the water passing through the screen flows out the gap of the screen plate and enters the next process. At the same time, under the action of gravity, the intercepted solid gathers and rolls along the screen surface to the screw press system to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

Technical Features

• Simple structure. Sieve Bend Filter includes screen, screen frame, water inlet pipe, water distribution pipe, etc.
• High filtering efficiency. When used for sewage treatment, BOD removal efficiency is about equal to the initial sedimentation. For domestic sewage treatment, the flow capacity of hydraulic screen per meter width is about 2000m ³/ d. The function is similar to that of a 180 ㎡ clarifier, and the floor area of a hydraulic screen is less than 5 ㎡.
• Flush regularly to ensure normal operation.

Application

1. It is used to remove suspended solids, floating solids, sediments and other solid substances in the treatment of small industrial wastewater such as papermaking, slaughtering, leather, sugar making, wine making, food processing, textile, printing and dyeing, petrochemical and etc.
2. It is used to recover fiber, slag and other useful substances in papermaking, alcohol, starch, food processing and other industries.
3. Used for small water supply and drainage pretreatment.
