Water Intake Filter

Water Intake Filter used to extract water from lakes, rivers, streams and reservoirs. Passive screening allows water to pass through the inlet at a low but uniform speed. The water passes through the inlet screen, while debris and aquatic organisms remain in the water.

Water Intake Filter

Working principle:

The Water Intake Filter is connected to the end of the pump in the water source. All sucked water must pass through the screen before entering the water inlet pipe. The screen prevents debris from entering and causes high maintenance costs in the system. The pump discharge return line drives two continuously rotating spray bars to spray water onto the screen within a working pressure range of 2.8 to 4.5 bar (40 to 65 psig) and spray debris away from the screen.

The Water Intake Filter has no external moving parts. It can be installed at any height without affecting operation. The filter has anti-collapse and corrosion resistance, and also has a standard flange connection. Other connections can be provided on request.

Available: 12 mesh (1680 microns), 18 mesh (1000 microns) and 24 mesh (710 microns) and precision can be customized.

When combined with the JX Filtration Automatic Self-cleaning Water Intake Filter, any water source can filter to 10 microns.
