What is the Function of Linear Vibrating Screen?
Linear Vibrating Screen is a mechanical screening device that uses the excitation force generated by a vibrating motor to cause the material to move forward in a linear, jumping or tossing motion across the screen surface.

Core Working Principle:
Typically, two vibrating motors of the same model are installed on either side of the screen box, or above or below it. The two motors rotate synchronously in opposite directions. As they rotate, the eccentric masses on the motors generate centrifugal force. Because the two motors rotate in opposite directions, the centrifugal force components perpendicular to the motor axes add together, while the components parallel to the motor axes cancel each other out. The result is a reciprocating linear motion path between the screen box and the screen mesh perpendicular to the motor axes.
The material on the screen mesh is subjected to this linear tossing motion, periodically tossing it and moving forward in a jumping motion. Meanwhile, material smaller than the mesh size passes through the screen and falls, achieving classification or dewatering.

- Screen Surface Angle: The screen surface is typically designed to be installed at an angle, utilizing a combination of gravity and vibration to promote forward material flow.
- Large Capacity: Particularly suitable for screening, dewatering, and desliming of medium and coarse-grained materials.
- Multi-layer Screening: Can be conveniently designed with two, three, or even four screen layers, screening multiple product sizes simultaneously.
Main Functions:
- Grading: Separates materials into different grades based on particle size.
- Dewatering: Removes excess water from materials, such as in sand washing and tailings dewatering.
- Desliming: Removes fine mud from materials.
- Demediation: Separates the heavy medium used as a separation medium from the product during heavy medium separation.
- Impurity Removal: Removes large impurities or fines from the material.
- Conveying: While screening, it also transports materials over a certain distance.

The linear vibrating screen is a general screening machine that relies on synchronous counter-rotating vibrating motors to generate linear exciting force, causing the material to make a linear jumping motion on the inclined screen surface, thereby achieving efficient screening, dehydration, desludging and other functions.
