Volute Sludge Dewatering Machine

The Volute Sludge Dewatering Machine integrates a fully automatic control cabinet, a flocculation conditioning tank, a sludge thickening and dewatering body, and a liquid collection tank.

Structure and principle

  • The spiral stacking body of the Volute Sludge Dewatering Machine is a filtering device formed by stacking a fixed ring and a moving ring, and the spiral shaft penetrates through it. The front section is a concentration section, and the rear section is a dehydration section.
  • The filter gap formed between the fixed ring and the moving ring and the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decrease from the concentration part to the dehydration part.
  • The rotation of the screw shaft pushes the sludge to be transported from the thickening part to the dewatering part, and at the same time drives the swimming ring to continuously clean the filter gap to prevent clogging.

    1. Compact design, simple operation, 24 hours unmanned operation.
    2. Occupies a small space, easy to maintain, replace and carry.
    3. Self-cleaning function, low flushing water consumption, good at dewatering oily sludge.
  • Low power, high torque and low speed operation with fewer faults:
    1. The screw shaft speed is about 1~4 rpm, and the power consumption is extremely low.
    2. Few failures, low noise and vibration, safe operation.
    3. Short daily maintenance time and simple maintenance operation.
  • Exquisite processing technology and low cost of operation:
    1. The dry mud capacity of a single machine is 6 kg/h-800 kg/h (each group of equipment can operate independently without affecting each other).
    2. The moving and fixed rings are polished and have high precision and long service life. According to the special requirements of customers, heat treatment can be carried out to increase the Vickers hardness of the ring by 1300-1500 degrees (mostly only 990 degrees in the conventional material), and further enhance the corrosion resistance of the ring.
    3. Through wear-resistant surfacing and heat treatment on the surface of the spiral blade, the Vickers hardness of the contact surface can reach more than 800 degrees. 
    4. The gasket is processed by a CNC lathe, and the tolerance of the fixed ring and the movable ring is within 0.02 mm.
