Self-cleaning Rotary Sieve Filter is mainly for medium flow rate and low to medium solids content wastewater. It is a compact, completely enclosed and low failure rate model, which is a solid-liquid separation equipment to solve common sewage. The screen can choose wedge mesh and perforated mesh, the common aperture diameter is 0.25~6mm. Self-cleaning Rotary Sieve Filter consists of drum grating surface, driving mechanism, backwash cleaning system, discharge mechanism, sealing assembly, inspection door assembly, frame and other components.

Working principle

During operation, the sewage (or other raw water) enters the inlet tank from the inlet pipe, flows evenly through the water baffle (or cloth pipe) to the front of the drum surface of the grate, and flows through the grate surface into the drum, and finally flows out from the lower part. The suspended matter in the effluent stays on the rotating drum surface and is sent from the inlet end to the discharge end on the other side with the rotation of the drum surface, where it is shoveled off by the discharge mechanism (usually the scraper). The time relay in the control cabinet controls the backwashing solenoid valve to open and close periodically, thus cleaning the blockage between the grating bars on the drum surface periodically. Its one-piece design, sturdy construction and high quality stainless steel materials ensure trouble-free long-term low energy operation and simple maintenance.
