How to Solve the Stuck of Dewatering Body?

When operating the sludge screw press, the dewatering body will be occasionally stuck by sludge. How to solve this problem? Please follow JX Filtration engineer instructions as follows:

Causes

1. The quality of the equipment. Especially the flatness of the spiral shaft and ring piece. The spiral shaft and ring piece are the main dewatering body of the stacked screw machine. If the manufacturer steals work and removes the leveling link on the surface of the shaft and ring piece, then the equipment is prone to mud plugging during the use.

2. The relationship between the nature of sludge. Organic sludge is characterized by high organic content, easy decay and odor, fine particles, small specific gravity, high water content and not easy to dehydrate, hydrophilic material with gelatinous structure, and easy to transport in the pipe channel; while inorganic sludge is characterized by the opposite.

If the sludge with too high inorganic content is treated by the  sludge screw press, or if the sludge has coarse particles, high specific gravity and fast mud-water separation speed, and the screw speed of the  sludge screw press is low, the water content is already low before the sludge is excluded from the filter chamber of the screw shaft, and the mud cake is extremely lack of liquidity, thus blocking in the dewatering section part.

3. Improper operation. Different models of Sludge screw press correspond to different treatment capacity. If the amount of sludge feed in the  sludge screw press is much larger than the treatment capacity, then the  sludge screw press is overloaded. The  sludge screw press is not cleaned and emptied before and after use, and the remaining sludge is attached between the spiral pieces, which can lead to the blockage of the equipment.

Solutions

1. Firstly, before using, let the  sludge screw press idle for about 10 minutes, supplemented by spraying device; after using the equipment, also turn off the feed and let the  sludge screw press idle for about 30 minutes, so that the residual sludge inside can be completely emptied, and at the same time, clean the spiral blade with water.

2. If the blockage is slight, you can try to reverse the  sludge screw press (on the control interface, there is a "frequency reversal" button, or turn on the spray flushing to solve.

3. If the blockage is serious, stop the machine immediately, overhaul it, flush it with plenty of water, and remove the spiral shaft if necessary to clean the sludge attached to it.

 

It is more important to follow the operation requirements of the equipment and master the correct operation method to avoid the problem of blocking the shaft during the operation of the  sludge screw press.
