Metering tank: The sludge is transported into the metering tank by the sludge transfer pump, and the excess part is returned from the return pipe to the sludge storage tank.
Flocculation mixing tank: The measured sludge is fully stirred and mixed with the injected polymer flocculant in the flocculation mixing tank to form a good alum.
Dewatering body: After the sludge enters the dewatering body through the sludge inlet, gravity concentration occurs instantaneously in the thickening section of the previous stage, and most of the filtrate is discharged. In the dewatering section, it is fully dehydrated due to the continuous increase of the internal cavity pressure.
Sludge outlet/concentrated sludge discharge outlet: The back pressure plate set at the sludge outlet produces a blocking force in the opposite direction, thereby further increasing the pressure in the body cavity, facilitating fully dewatering of the sludge, and removing the sludge in the form of a sludge cake. *The sludge thickener discharges the thickened sludge through the sludge outlet. There is no back pressure plate on the sludge outlet side of the sludge thickener.
