Core Working Principle:

The filter's operating process can be divided into two main phases: filtration and cleaning.

1. Filtration Phase:

The liquid to be filtered enters the filter housing through the inlet. Under pressure, the liquid passes from the inside out through a wedge-shaped wire mesh or other precision filter screen. Solid particles are trapped on the inner surface of the screen, and clean liquid flows out through the outlet. Filtration is continuous and uninterrupted throughout the entire filtration process.

2. Cleaning Phase:

When impurities accumulate on the filter's inner surface to a certain level, the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet increases, and the control system automatically initiates the cleaning process:

  • Drive: The pneumatic cylinder receives a signal and activates, driving an axial suction scanner or directly driving a scraper assembly, which performs axial linear reciprocating motion within the filter.
  • Scraping: The scraper, mounted on the scanner or drive rod, presses against the inner wall of the filter. During this linear motion, the scraper thoroughly removes all impurities adhering to the filter.
  • Drainage: The scraped impurities settle under gravity to the filter's bottom sump. Simultaneously, during the cleaning process, the drain valve automatically opens, leveraging the system's inherent pressure differential to instantly and rapidly discharge impurities from the drain outlet. The entire cleaning process takes only seconds, with minimal impact on flow.
  • Reset: After cleaning is complete, the pneumatic cylinder resets the scraper assembly, closing the drain valve and allowing the system to resume full-flow filtration.
