Working principle:
The treated wastewater enters the drum of filter along the axial direction, and flows out through the screen in a radial radial shape. The impurities in the water (fine suspended matter, fiber, pulp, etc.) are trapped on the inner surface of the filter on the wedge wire drum screen.
When the impurities are brought to the upper part of the filter by the rotary drum screen, they are backwashed by the pressure washing water and flow out in the slag discharge tank.
During operation, the 2/5 diameter part of the drum of the filter is exposed to the water surface, the rotation speed is 1-4r/min, the filtering speed 30-120m/h, and the flushing water pressure is 0.5-1.5kg/cm2. The flushing water volume is 0.5-1.0% of the production water volume.
When used in reservoir water treatment, the Rotary Screen Filter has an algae removal efficiency of 40-70% and a plankton removal efficiency of 97-100%. It covers a small area, has a large production capacity (250-36000m3/d), and is easy to operate and maintain.
